Mann’s Best Friend operates as a semi-mobile grooming service. Instead of traveling house-to-house, I bring my fully equipped grooming trailer to set locations within your community.
I rotate between Kagawong on Tuesdays, Gore Bay on Wednesdays, Mindemoya on Thursdays, Little Current on Fridays, and South Baymouth on Saturdays, following a weekly schedule.
Coming to your community
Once you’ve booked, you’ll receive your appointment time and location in Kagawong, Gore Bay, Mindemoya, Little Current, or South Baymouth. Please arrive on time, as each appointment is scheduled one-on-one and runs back-to-back.
Before your Appointment
Arrival & Drop-Off
When you arrive, I’ll do a quick check-in to go over your dog’s needs, haircut preferences, and anything important I should know. This is also a great time to mention behavior, sensitivities, or past grooming experiences.
DUring the Groom
Your dog will be groomed straight through in a calm, private environment—no cages, no overlap with other dogs. Because it’s one-on-one, I’m able to take my time and adjust to your dog’s comfort level, whether they’re nervous, senior, or just need a little extra patience.
Pick-Up
Once your dog is finished, I’ll let you know they’re ready. Most grooms are completed within a few hours depending on the service and coat condition. At pick-up, I’m happy to go over how everything went and answer any questions.
My goal is to make grooming as positive as possible. By working one dog at a time in a quiet space, I’m able to reduce stress and give your dog my full attention from start to finish.
